Andrew Black - Managing Director, Experian Data Quality & Targeting A/NZ

Andrew joined Experian in 2001 and has held a variety of roles both locally and globally. In his current role as Managing Director he is responsible for the overall business performance in the region, driving strategy and initiatives to position Experian as a leader in Data Quality and Targeting.


Andrew’s experience in data management and strategy spans multiple verticals and both local and global markets. He has been successful at guiding the business through periods of change and most recently was instrumental in launching Pandora into the Australian market, transforming the business from a contact data provider to experts in integrated data quality solutions

Steve Philpotts - Sales Director, Experian Data Quality A/NZ

Steve has spent the last 12 years in the Marketing Services space. Of which, 10 of those years have been focused on the Data Quality market with Experian in the UK and A/NZ. In his role as Sales Director for A/NZ he’s responsible for leading the strategy, structure and operating rhythm of our Account Management teams to deliver great outcomes for our clients.

Every public and private organisation holds and utilises data. It’s often regarded as an organisation’s most important asset, integral to their operational functions. Steve’s experience across a wide spectrum of vertical markets helps to equip our Account Management teams with an educated approach to understanding the challenges faced by organsiations in today’s world of exponential data type and volume growth. The result is a motivated and customer-focused team driven to help our clients solve these challenges and power opportunities.

John Ellenberger - Director of Product, Experian Data Quality & Targeting A/NZ

John joined Experian in 2016 as the Director of Product responsible for Data Quality & Targeting Products. He has a background in Market Research and Business Intelligence as well as international experience running partner programs and large scale statistical projects.

John looks after the Data Quality & Targeting Product Suite including QAS, Pandora, ConsumerView, Mosaic, Location Products and Digital Advertising Services. John also works with Experian data suppliers and partners to ensure the continual updating and enhancement of the group’s core databases.

As part of the Product role John keeps abreast of emerging marketing trends in the fields of advertising, analytics and visualisation.

Sean Edmunds - Director of Solutions & Strategy, Experian Data Quality A/NZ

Sean is Director of Solutions and Strategy, responsible for our flagship time-to-value data quality solution, Pandora. Sean joined Experian in 2006 and is a seasoned client centric solutions consultant, with  over 20 years’ cross industry experience and expertise in aligning product and service solutions to solve clients critical data-driven business issues.

His area of expertise is ensuring organisations are increasing the value derived from their customer data.  Sean provides end to end expertise through analysing where an organisations data quality is affected, rectifying and improving data management processes and  finally  implementing  control  mechanisms to ensure data is maintained and measured over time.
