Could businesses improve customer relationships with address software?

Address finding software can help businesses to improve their customer relations and drive sales, it has been suggested.

This is the view of Harvey Abramson, IT and projects manager at Fabric Warehouse, who believes that the company's recent adoption of the address software has been beneficial to both the business and its customers.

Fabric Warehouse has placed store locator and online address finder software on its website, which means that potential customers can now easily perform searches to find their closest store.

Mr Abramson added that the technology would be further utilized to aid the organization's future growth.

He said: "We have recently determined to overhaul and redesign our website in a move to introduce e-commerce."

"We will be sure to continue to offer our visitors the ability to find their nearest store, but will also use the technology in the e-commerce area for address verification."

The e-commerce sector grew 7.2 per cent year-on-year during August, the latest SpendingPulse report from MasterCard Advisors showed.
