A data center has managed to deliver 1,000 days of uninterrupted services, marking a milestone in its development.
The ATAC center, owned by OnePartner, managed to overcome a "punishing barrage" of powerful weather systems that have disrupted power to thousands of businesses this spring.
Power outages over the course of the year can see businesses lose unmeasurable quantities of productivity and opportunities, as well as valuable data.
Tom Deaderick, director of business development for the data center, commented: "When so many of the region's small and medium-sized businesses suffer multiple incidents every year, they can come to believe downtime is just unavoidable."
He added: "Believing there is no other way, they don't bother running the numbers to see how costly these outages are to their business."
The director noted that the center's achievement is down to a wide range of factors, including its location, design, staff and strict adherence to processes.
