According to the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), having the correct staff can help to stimulate growth in organizations.
Ray Jones, head of communications and external affairs at CIM, explained that both small and large businesses can benefit from effective recruitment.
"It's clear that qualified marketers can help hasten that process by carefully segmenting the market, ensuring good value on marketing spend and generally helping businesses achieve the long-term sustainable growth that they are looking for."
A recent report for DMNews has found that US marketers are now favoring traditional direct marketing techniques in their campaigns.
The State of Marketing Report claimed that 62 per cent of individuals questioned were planning to better utilize their customer data.
In addition, analytics, database marketing, data integration and building infrastructure would also be focused upon.
