'Usability can impact on the effectiveness of CRM'

Adopting a customer relationship management (CRM) solution that has a high level of usability can be a crucial factor in its successful implementation in the workplace.

While many CRM solutions focus on data quality and the range of features the software has to offer, usability must also be maximized if the technology is to be widely used around the office to make corporate life that much easier, reports Destination CRM.

One way to ensure this is by choosing a CRM program that is integrated with the existing systems used by businesses and if this is done the adoption rate within the firm can soar by 30 per cent or more.

Aiming for a system that uses intuitive controls and features could be advisable as this could less time for employees to get used to, while setting up a single sign-on can also encourage greater use of the application.

Gartner recently announced that this year's Customer Relationship Management Summit is to take place in September in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to a report from CRM Today.
