ZIP Code software used to provide data on real estate agents

Zip code software is being used to make an online database of real estate agents easier to use, while also offering a wealth of community-level information.

Listingbook contains details of more than 80,000 real estate agents around the US, as well as information about a host of local communities ranging from housing information and crime rates through to the cost of living and population demographics in specific neighborhoods, reports RISMedia.

Version 2.6 of the software reveals the rapid growth and popularity of the database and the zip code verification can help to get hold of very specific local information.

Michael Ondrejko, senior vice-president of Lintingbook, told the website: "Our intuitive search capabilities can relate any type of property location, such as school districts, lakes [or] regions to any others such as city or zip code. The user is provided with related areas they may be interested in finding easily and quickly."

In related news, zip code software is being used in Black Hawk County, Iowa, to identify 911 emergency messages sent by text, reports Information Week.
