All sensitive data being dispatched to, or by, Experian Data Quality must be encrypted and password protected.
STEP 1: Encrypt the data
Sensitive data must be encrypted to AES256 level. Methods supporting this form of encryption are:
STEP 2: Password protect the data
Data is only as secure as the password used to create it. Passwords must be at least 16 characters in length and not easily guessable.

STEP 3: Dispatch the data to Experian Data Quality
Encrypted data can be dispatched to Experian Data Quality electronically via Secure FTP. Your Experian Data Quality representative will be able to arrange the creation of an STS account to assist with your secure data transfer requirements.
The transport of Physical media encrypted and authorised by Experian is also permitted under the provision that a secure method of delivery has been agreed upon before dispatch. Your Experian Data Quality representative will provide the necessary address details and information.
STEP 4: Provide password details
On receipt of the data, an Experian Data Quality representative will make contact to confirm its successful delivery and request the necessary password details.
All sensitive data dispatched by Experian Data Quality will be encrypted and password protected.
Once data has been dispatched, an Experian Data Quality representative will be in contact to solicit confirmation that the data has been received and to provide the necessary password details.
