I am pleased to announce that Experian has once again been included as a main vendor in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools. The 2015 report places Experian in the “Challenger” area of the Quadrant.

I believe this recognises the value we bring to customers as they respond to challenges around digital transformation, regulation and the use of data as an asset to drive financial performance.

Our customers will certainly have noticed an increase in our data management capabilities and new implementation options thanks to our dedicated SaaS self-service capabilities which focus on providing ease of use for business users.

As we continue to invest in our existing solutions and expanding our offering, we maintain a strong focus on the following principles:

1. Rapid time to value

Whether it is our Experian Pandora product providing actionable insight within hours of installation, or our SaaS solutions providing on-demand validation and correction of information such as mobile phone numbers, it is essential that our customers are able to derive value from our products as quickly as possible.

2. Empowerment of subject-matter experts

Our customers tell us that getting the power of our software into the hands of the right people is vital to capitalise on their knowledge. Ease of use is therefore a major factor in driving benefits. Richard O’Neil, Data Quality Manager at the Financial Times, told us that business users like the Experian Pandora tool ‘because it’s easy to get to grips with and is straightforward and easy to use.’

3. Flexibility

With a customer base that spans all sizes of organisation and vertical sectors, we provide solutions to support that diversity, dealing with everything from complex and risky data migration projects through to single-use SaaS data cleansing tasks.

4. Customer Focus

Our customers stay with us year on year as the quality of our service is recognised as a valuable differentiator in an increasingly competitive market.

I’d personally like to thank our 8,500 customers across the globe, as well as our valuable partners, for helping us achieve this position in the data quality software market. We are encouraged by this report from Gartner and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with customers to take advantage of the exciting evolution of this market.
