PAF Licence Changes

What is PAF?

PAF is the abbreviation for Postal Address File. This is a database that contains all UK address and postcodes, both residential and non-residential, that is supplied by the Royal Mail. It contains over 29 million addresses and 1.7 million postcodes.

What are the Postal Address File licence changes?

PAF now supports more than postal deliveries, it now plays a crucial part in identity verification, GIS mapping and customer management.

PAF licence changes are deemed necessary. The PAF licence changes mean additional liabilities for heavier users of the file, while those who use it less will pay less.
