What is PAF?

Postcode Address File (PAF) is an address file maintained by the Royal Mail. The PAF file is the most up to date and complete address database for the UK. It contains over 28 million UK residential and business delivery addresses and postcodes. It also has information on over 1.3 million business names.

PAF data is critical when managing contact data as it ensures contact addresses are clean, up to date and accurate. Such data is vital for accurate mailing and demographic analysis for your customer base.

PAF licences are bought and attributed to contact data management software and solutions. Having full access to the Postcode Address File will give huge benefits and advantages to those businesses wanting to maintain and ensure accurate address detail.
