Experian® QAS®, a part of Experian Marketing Services and a leading provider of address verification software and services, today announced that Jewelry Television, a multichannel shopping network that focuses exclusively on the sale of jewelry and gemstones, will use Experian QAS address validation to ensure the accuracy of incoming customer data. The products are expected to improve data quality and help the organization achieve a single customer view.
"Data quality is vital in achieving a single view of the customer," said C. Chris Meystrik, chief technology officer at Jewelry Television. "Having a solid data quality foundation will help us attain one record per customer in our Enterprise System, which is very important for customer loyalty programs, data infrastructure, business analytics, and other initiatives."
The Experian QAS products will be used in the Jewelry Television call center and e-commerce site. The tools will ensure that all incoming customer addresses are collected accurately at the point of capture.
"Data quality plays a key role in helping retailers understand and effectively communicate with their customers," said David Northridge, vice president of client retention, Experian QAS. "As a leader in contact data quality, Experian QAS has done extensive research to pursue industry best practices in contact data collection. The tools allow retailers to collect accurate information, no matter the channel."
