Businesses have been advised that address verification software
helps to reduce costs incurred through inaccurate, inconsistent and duplicate data.
Writing for TCM Net, contributing editor David Sims has recommended that organizations look to purchase the technology to help drive business growth.
The comments come after the news provider published an article which suggested that address verification
tools are a useful method of retaining a large customer base.
Citing a number of published reports in the industry, TCM Net explained that the average US company loses between 20 to 40 per cent of its customers every year.
"With the amount of business you stand to lose without address verification software in place, you can't afford to not take this vital step," it continued.
"As the cost of acquiring new customers continues to rise, you have to take advantage of low-cost strategies to maintain your base and extend the value of that business."
